Office of the Investment Board Nepal, as your first point of reference for investing in Nepal, wholeheartedly welcomes you to this One-Stop Service (OSS) platform for all your investment related services. Through this OSS, you will be able to use all public services; either inside IBN or outside IBN, related to your IBN-faciliated projects. All of your documents and details will remain confidential as per the prevailing law of Nepal.

If you are already registered to the system or you have the login credentials, you can Log in using the details. And if you are new to this system and haven't registered yet, click on the Sign Up button and provide us your details. Following the step, you will be asked to fill up a KYI (Know Your Investor) form.

OSS System is an application submission portal that serves as a single-entry point for investors to submit their application online and track the status.

OSS System provides following services :

  • carry out activities regarding registration, approval, establishment of the company, renewal, transaction approval, etc. 
  • Issue recommendation letter to the relevant agency for project development
  • Provide Permanent Account Number (PAN) to investor
  • Recommend and facilitate FDI approval and repatriation based on prevailing laws
  • Facilitate for necessary industrial infrastructure required for project development
  • Facilitate foreign investor and foreign workers for obtaining visa and work permit as per existing law
  • Provide investment-related notices and information through the establishment and operation of an investment portal
  • Conduct/facilitate/recommend activities such as capital increment, the addition of objectives, change in objective, ownership transfer and relocation of a company established under existing law for project development
  • Recommend and facilitate all activities essential in relation to project development and management

No, IBN does not charge investors for one-stop service OSS System facilities.

As per clause 45 and sub-clause (5) of the  Public-Private Partnership and Investment Act 2019, foreign investment projects shall be treated equally as any domestic industry in Nepal.
